Hwang, who concluded a total of 25 years in public service?11 years in Seocho District and 14 years in Seoul City?is nurturing a dream of a new start in his administrative hometown, Seocho District.
During his 11 years of public service in Seocho District after passing the state exam, Hwang served as director of three bureaus including the Administrative Support Bureau and the Planning and Management Bureau, as well as three department heads including the Culture and Public Relations Officer,
sharing precious moments of joy and sorrow with many senior and junior colleagues, maintaining closer relationships than anyone else.
The former Seocho District executives who declared support on this day unanimously said that Hwang’s image during his Seocho District days brings to mind a true Seocho man who was diligent and passionate, meticulously inspected every corner of the field, laid the basic framework for district administration including planning and budgeting, and worked tirelessly for media publicity.
Therefore, the former executives stated that they joined in support, expecting Hwang In-sik to return to Seocho District and serve as the best district mayor for a new leap forward for Seocho.
In particular, former Seocho District Mayor Cho Nam-ho highly evaluated Hwang’s freshness at the start of his public service, his passion for work, confidence that inspires trust, and ability to understand and manage the needs of residents, emphasizing the strong human relationships with senior and junior colleagues that continue to this day, and expressed active support for his candidacy for Seocho District Mayor.
Hwang In-sik announced in his candidacy declaration (22.03.30) that the first reason for running for Seocho District Mayor in the June 1 local elections is to start in Seocho, his administrative hometown where he shared joys and sorrows with senior and junior colleagues and former executives, and where their sweat and traces remain.

A candidate with no ties to Seocho who relies on political trends for personal advancement should be rejected by the wise choice of Seocho residents. There is no time to waste or afford trial and error with an unprepared mayoral candidate for the future of Seocho District.
