Filming Over 50 Unspecified Women with a Mobile Phone

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A man who secretly filmed under a woman's skirt with a mobile phone on the basement first floor of Lotte World in Songpa-gu, Seoul, was caught by the police.

On the 6th, the Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced that they are investigating a man in his 20s, Mr. A, on charges of using a camera for filming under the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes.

Mr. A was caught in the act by the police following a citizen's suspicious report while secretly filming unspecified women with his mobile phone in front of the Gamseong School Uniform stairs on the basement first floor of Lotte World at around 8:53 p.m. on the 1st. It is reported that Mr. A filmed about 50 women.

The police stated, "We are analyzing Mr. A's mobile phone to investigate whether there were additional crimes."
