LG HelloVision HelloMobile Sells 'USIM' on Lotte ON

Customers can easily purchase SIM cards anytime on ‘Lotte ON’. The subscription process is also simple. After purchasing the SIM card, customers can freely choose and subscribe to any Hello Mobile SIM plan, such as the ‘Unlimited 33 SIM’, through the linked subscription application page. The delivered SIM card can be immediately used by inserting it into the device after a 5-minute self-activation.

Hello Mobile pursued this partnership focusing on the contactless shopping trend that has become routine since COVID-19. The goal is to further increase accessibility to budget phones through the online mall. In particular, synergy between unlocked phones and SIM card sales is expected. As the ‘unlocked phone + SIM’ consumption by the MZ generation has become full-fledged, the number of Hello Mobile SIM subscribers through unlocked phone sales channels (open markets) last year surged more than threefold compared to the previous year.

A special promotion is also underway. Until the end of this month, all customers who purchase and activate Hello Mobile SIM cards through Lotte ON will receive a ‘mobile department store gift certificate (up to 30,000 KRW depending on the plan)’. Additionally, the first 1,000 customers who sign up for a plan costing 9,900 KRW or more via number portability will receive a premium wireless earset as a gift.
