SKT to Host Cherry Blossom Festival in Metaverse Ifland

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] SK Telecom announced on the 6th that it will introduce the 'Cherry Blossom Ending' Land on the metaverse platform Ifland to celebrate the cherry blossom festival season.

Considering that many cherry blossom festivals nationwide have been canceled again this year due to social distancing, SKT planned this service so that customers can enjoy cherry blossom viewing in the virtual world.

The Ifland 'Cherry Blossom Ending' Land is designed with six themes, including a lakeside trail, train track, wish zone, Hanok cafe, and picnic zone, inspired by the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival, known as the largest cherry blossom festival in Korea.

In particular, SKT plans to hold the Ifland metaverse fan meeting 'The Fan Live' scheduled for the end of this month in the 'Cherry Blossom Ending' Land.
