On the 6th, a customer is purchasing pork at Lotte Mart Zeta Plex Jamsil branch in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Mart announced on the 6th that it will hold an event offering up to 40% discount on pork for L.Point members from the 7th to the 13th in celebration of its 24th anniversary.
For this event, more than 200 tons of stock were secured in advance from domestic wholesale markets, and by processing the products at Lotte's own Fresh Quality Innovation Center, the distribution stages were drastically reduced to secure price competitiveness.
Featured products include domestically produced regular samgyeopsal (pork belly), neck meat, and front leg cuts sold at discounted prices. Domestically produced thinly sliced samgyeopsal and neck meat are offered at a 20% discount.
Meanwhile, all items of the branded Korean beef (Hanwoo) are also offered at a 40% discount. Various pork and Hanwoo promotional products are also available at the Lotte Mart Mall within Lotte ON.
A Lotte Mart official said, "We prepared this promotion so that consumers can enjoy pork without burden during these difficult times of rising prices," adding, "We hope families recharge their energy for spring and that livestock farmers regain vitality."
