The public relations team will carry out missions such as monthly tours of Gangnam’s famous spots and cultural experiences, and act as private marketing agents promoting Gangnam to their compatriots through personal SNS. Those who complete the promotional missions will receive monthly prizes and benefits such as participation in performances, exhibitions, and events hosted by Gangnam-gu.

Jeong Soon-gyun, Mayor of Gangnam-gu, said, “During the 7th elected term, Gangnam-gu has actively attracted foreign tourists by running CNN advertisements and broadcasting the global content ‘Gangnam Insiders Picks’ weekly in 27 countries. We will continue to widely promote Gangnam, a global city where tradition and modernity harmonize, to the world through overseas broadcasts and the operation of the ‘Foreign Honorary Public Relations Team.’”

Seocho-gu announced that it will operate ‘AI/VR Interview Consulting’ to help job seekers prepare for interviews until the end of the year.

In response to the recent increase in companies conducting AI interviews and the expansion of non-face-to-face recruitment methods, the district has been operating the ‘AI/VR Interview Consulting’ program since last year, which uses AI and VR to help young people build confidence through sufficient mock interview experiences.

The ‘AI/VR Interview Consulting’ consists of an ‘AI Recruitment Program’ based on AI competency tests and personality and aptitude analysis with feedback to prepare for the changing recruitment market, and a ‘VR Interview Program’ that allows realistic interview practice with a virtual interviewer.

This year, to provide opportunities to more young people, the program will offer practical interview experiences to 500 young people, an increase of 300 from last year.

The ‘AI Recruitment Program’ includes eight stages of competency tests covering self-introduction, personality tests, situational response interviews, and in-depth interviews, allowing interviewees to experience the entire recruitment process. This year, participants can choose to include the NCS (National Competency Standards) basic vocational skills assessment for higher quality employment consulting.

For young people who often get nervous during interviews (‘interview anxiety’), the ‘VR Interview Program’ is the solution. Through VR devices, users can interact with a virtual interviewer with questions and answers tailored to various job categories, helping them overcome interview anxiety through solid practical interview preparation.

The AI/VR Interview Consulting operates by reservation. Participants can select their preferred time between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays and visit the 8th-floor training room of Seocho-gu Office to experience the program. The ‘AI Recruitment Program’ can also be experienced at home if the participant has a personal PC with a webcam and a headset.

To apply, visit the Google Form link provided in the announcement on the Seocho-gu Office website and submit the application form.

Additionally, the district operates various youth employment education programs such as ▲ Seocho AI College ▲ Seocho Media Creator ▲ 4th Industrial Revolution software courses and NCS written test preparation through the Blueprint Academy to nurture future talents leading the upcoming 4th Industrial Revolution and support stable employment for youth.

Cheon Jeong-wook, Acting Mayor of Seocho-gu, said, “We will continue to prepare customized support projects to help young people find the jobs they want in this era of employment cliff.”
