[Seoul District News] Dongdaemun-gu Holds 'Neowa Na-ui Cheongnyeom Day' on the 4th to Promote Proper Organizational Culture and Fair Personnel Awareness Campaign
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol) launched a ‘Mutual Respect & Greeting Campaign’ on the morning of the 4th to create an organizational culture with deep mutual understanding and respect in celebration of ‘You and My Integrity Day.’
The campaign, conducted both online and offline, aimed to foster a proper organizational culture and raise awareness about fair personnel management free from corruption. About 30 employees, including members of the Audit Office, Administrative Support Division, and the Integrity Love Club, participated.
Participating employees held placards with messages about mutual respect and fair personnel management in the district office lobby during commuting hours. They also distributed leaflets promoting the Anti-Graft Act and the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act, which will be enforced in May, along with masks bearing integrity slogans and snacks.
Additionally, phrases such as ‘Use honorific language with each other,’ ‘Communicate, not command; respect, not ignore,’ and ‘Greet with a smile and greet fairly’ were made into e-posters and shared with employees via the Saeol Administrative System.
The district office plans to continue activities to improve unreasonable organizational culture through the production of card news, banners, and posters to promote daily integrity practice and eradicate power harassment.
Yoo Deok-yeol, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, stated, “Since our organization includes diverse generations, communication and respect among employees are even more important,” and added, “We will do our best to establish a horizontal organizational culture based on mutual respect beyond this campaign.”
