During the conversation following the award ceremony, President Moon praised, "Throughout many years of service as a prosecutor and Supreme Court Justice, you played a significant role in upholding truth and justice, establishing workers' rights, gender equality in employment relations, and the rights of socially disadvantaged groups," and added, "Please share your valuable teachings with your juniors based on your extensive legal experience."
Former Justice Park said, "I am grateful that the President personally awarded me the medal as he concludes his term," and "Having received social grace, I will seek opportunities to repay it through service."
