[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Gyumin] A man in his 20s who visited a woman’s house repeatedly for about two months and even engaged in illegal filming was caught by the police.
On the 4th, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul announced that they arrested a man in his 20s, identified as Mr. A, on charges including violation of the Stalking Punishment Act at around 11:40 p.m. the previous day in a residential area of Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, and are currently investigating.
According to the police, Mr. A is suspected of visiting the victim’s residence multiple times over the two months from February to this month. He is also accused of entering the shared entrance of the victim’s residence the previous day, opening the bathroom door, and conducting illegal filming.
A police official stated, "The investigation is currently ongoing," and added, "We plan to examine whether other charges apply through the investigation."
