BankMall, a mortgage loan comparison platform, announced on the 1st that it has signed a business agreement with SK Planet to expand financial services and will conduct joint marketing for financial consumers.
Through this business agreement, users can now access BankMall's mortgage loan comparison service, which accurately reflects loan regulations, within ‘Syrup’ and ‘OK Cashback’. As leading companies in their respective fields, the two firms plan to jointly implement an “interest reduction” project and promote various marketing activities to support South Korean financial consumers amid the current interest rate hike period.
BankMall expects that by providing services to SK Planet’s point and membership-based users and leveraging the largest-scale customer marketing operation know-how in Korea, it will help increase membership and activate the loan comparison platform.
Additionally, to expand SK Planet’s financial services, BankMall will actively share high-quality services such as providing a platform that allows comparison of apartment mortgage loans and jeonse deposit loans by financial institutions through an algorithm that applies complex loan regulations.
BankMall CEO Cho Kyung-sung stated, "We expect great synergy when the BankMall platform, developed by incorporating loan comparison expertise accumulated over the past 10 years to reduce consumers’ interest, meets the approximately 20 million members of Syrup and OK Cashback, who aim for wise consumer lifestyles. BankMall’s loan comparison service especially applies a recently certified conflict-of-interest prevention algorithm, enabling objective identification of the optimal financial institution based on individual consumer conditions.”
To celebrate their partnership, BankMall and SK Planet will hold a friend event throughout April. Customers who sign up for BankMall through ‘Syrup’ and ‘OK Cashback’ and leave reviews about the loan comparison service will be given Starbucks coffee coupons daily to 79 people.
