On the 30th, Public-Private Partnership Supports Youth Startups... 'Seoul City Alley Startup School' Operation Agreement Signed
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation announced on the 31st that it will partner with Shinhan Bank to provide pre-consulting and customized education services to young people aspiring to start food service businesses participating in the ‘Seoul City Alleyway Startup School,’ aiming to reduce the failure rate and achieve successful startups.
This service involves experts supported by Shinhan Bank conducting one-on-one pre-consultations to diagnose the current status and propose solutions for successful startups. Based on the consultation results, Shinhan Bank collaborates with specialized professional education institutions to develop and operate tailored theoretical education, covering all related costs.
Although the program has previously been conducted with level-based and customized classes, the addition of expert one-on-one diagnosis allows individuals to receive support tailored from theoretical education onward, enhancing the completeness of the education program. The goal is to enable young prospective entrepreneurs to focus on the necessary aspects for startup success and reduce the probability of failure.
Furthermore, Shinhan Bank plans to give preferential selection to graduates of the ‘Seoul City Alleyway Startup School’ when they apply to Shinhan Bank’s own small business development program, the ‘Success Do Dream Program.’
Accordingly, on the 30th, the foundation signed a business agreement for the operation of the ‘Seoul City Alleyway Startup School’ at the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation headquarters, attended by Kim Seung-young, Executive Director, and Park Sung-hyun, Vice President of Shinhan Bank. The first half of the year’s startup education for the ‘Seoul City Alleyway Startup School’ will begin in May.
Joo Cheol-soo, Chairman of the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation, said, “To provide more practical startup education to young people aspiring to start businesses, we have partnered with Shinhan Bank to offer a customized startup education program. Through this collaboration, both organizations have broken down barriers and created a win-win cooperation model aimed at the single goal of successful startups by young small business owners, and we will do our best to promote it.”
