NHN Applies Gamebase to Blockchain P&E Game 'Rise of Stars'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] NHN has stepped up to support the development of P&E (Play & Earn) games by Lightcon, a subsidiary of Wemade Max.

On the 30th, NHN announced that it will provide the game platform Gamebase to ‘RISE OF STARS,’ developed by Lightcon, offering a successful service launch and operational environment.

RISE OF STARS is a blockchain strategy P&E game based on the WEMIX platform. Since its global release in February, it has gained great popularity in the global market, leading to server expansions due to a surge in user demand.

Gamebase is a global game platform that offers all necessary game services in an all-in-one solution, excluding game development itself, including authentication, payment, operations, and analytics tools for game developers. By adopting Gamebase for RISE OF STARS, Lightcon was able to focus on game content development, updates, server expansion, and token economy balancing, resulting in reduced development effort, time, and costs.

NHN supplies Gamebase to numerous game companies and is increasing the number of partners annually. Currently, many domestic and international game companies such as Clover Games, Move Games, Wemade Max, Blue Potion Games, and 111% are using NHN cloud-based services.

Ryu Hee-tae, head of NHN Game Technology Center, evaluated, "The global success of RISE OF STARS is a good example proving that Gamebase, which has shown excellent results in the gaming industry, also works well for P&E games."
