Recruitment for 'Village Community Accounting Support Team' in Nam-gu, Gwangju

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is publicly recruiting accounting practice support members for village communities to enhance the efficiency of subsidy execution and settlement tasks for various village community projects promoted by village residents throughout this year.

This is to alleviate the difficulties faced by village activists who struggle with project implementation due to lack of proficiency in accounting.

According to Nam-gu on the 29th, the recruitment for the 2022 Nam-gu Village Community Accounting Practice Support Team will be held until April 12.

The recruitment targets citizens registered as residents of Gwangju, and the number of recruits is three.

In particular, priority will be given to activists proficient in accounting who are involved in village communities located in the Gwangju area, or those with experience in subsidy execution related to autonomous district village public projects.

Applicants can download the related documents from the announcement section on the Nam-gu Office website and apply by visiting the Nam-gu Village Community Cooperation Center or via email.

The village community accounting practice support members will visit village-related organizations active in 17 neighborhoods within the district until the end of this year, providing accounting practice education, consulting on subsidy settlement document preparation, and listening to suggestions during project implementation.

Working hours are 14 hours per week, including 2 to 3 on-site activities, within a monthly limit of 54 hours. Activity allowance is 10,920 KRW per hour plus transportation expenses.

A Nam-gu official stated, “As resident-led village community projects are becoming more active, village activists are struggling with subsidy settlements, so we have established the accounting practice support team,” and added, “We encourage many interested individuals to participate.”
