MimiBox Brand 'Kaja' Wins Bustle Best Beauty Awards 2022 in the US

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Memebox announced on the 29th that its color cosmetics brand Kaja, co-developed with Sephora, won an award at Bustle magazine's Best Beauty Awards 2022 on the 15th.


Bustle is a top online magazine favored by women in their 20s, recording over 20 million visitors monthly. In particular, the Best Beauty Awards introduce products and brands carefully selected by experts and readers from various beauty categories such as skincare, makeup, and hair.


This year, Kaja's "Play Bento" was selected as the Best Multitasker in the makeup category, proving its product quality and popularity. Play Bento is a portable palette with layers of blush, highlighter, and bronzer. It was praised for being compact, fun, and easy to use. Other award-winning products in the same category include Valentino's "Very Valentino Foundation" and Giorgio Armani's "Armani Lip Power Lipstick."


Kaja is a makeup brand launched in 2018 through a strategic partnership and joint development between Memebox and Sephora. It proved its popularity by being selected as the number one preferred brand among Sephora customers aged 18 to 24 in the United States in 2020.


Additionally, following awards such as the 2019 Allure Best Beauty Awards Glitter Eyeshadow category for "Beauty Bento" and the 2021 Cosmopolitan Holy Grail Beauty Awards Lip Gloss category for "Gloss Shot," Kaja continues to achieve good results this year. As a brand targeting the MZ generation, it is focusing on strategic expansion in overseas markets rather than domestically.
