"Busan to Become the Mecca of Fencing" ... Kim Yong-wan, President of Busan Fencing Association, Donates Equipment to Athletes

Busan Fencing Association President Kim Yong-wan, along with the athletes and coaching staff, is taking a commemorative photo after the group equipment delivery ceremony.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Busan Fencing Association donated supplies to the athletes on the 22nd at the fencing venue inside the Busan Asiad Main Stadium.

The delivery ceremony was attended by Kim Yong-wan, president of the Fencing Association; Han Woo-ri, general director (coach of the Dong-Eui University fencing team); Lee Jeong-hyun, secretary general; Yoon Jeong-sook, vice president of women's sports; and other association executives, athletes, and coaches.

Kim Yong-wan, president of the association, emphasized supporting an association where athletes can comfortably and happily nurture their dreams and train after taking office as president of the Busan Fencing Association, and once again led by example by donating supplies worth approximately 6.5 million won to the athletes.

Kim Yong-wan, president of the Busan Fencing Association, said, “I want this delivery ceremony to foster a sense of belonging among the Busan fencing team and convey that fencing in Busan is a happy experience. We will strive to make Busan the mecca of fencing and work hard to establish men's and women's sabre professional teams.”
