Yuhan Corporation Signs Agreement with Jeonjin Biopharm for Next-Generation Household Products Business Woo Sang-hyun, Vice President of Jeonjin Biopharm, and Kim Seon-su, Executive Director of Yuhan Corporation, are taking a commemorative photo at the MOU signing ceremony held on the 24th.

[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Yuhan Corporation and Jeonjin BioPharm announced on the 24th that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the next-generation household goods business.


Through this agreement, the two companies plan to establish a close cooperative system for the joint development and sales of next-generation household goods that reflect rapidly changing consumer trends.


Jeonjin BioPharm operates a pest damage reduction business using formulation technology by building a material-based library using natural materials. They are expanding their business area to household goods by quickly applying accumulated know-how to various products. Recently, they have developed and commercialized various laundry products and daily necessities such as capsule-type detergents and dryer-specific dry sheets by utilizing a natural material database.


Yuhan Corporation and Jeonjin BioPharm plan to launch their first collaborative product, the easy-to-use high-concentration capsule detergent called ‘Areumdaun Setakseje Power Capsule’. They will also jointly develop and release various products such as laundry anti-dyeing sheets and dry sheets.


Kim Seongsu, Executive Director of Yuhan Corporation’s Household Distribution Business Division, said, “We will work together to develop various household goods that provide both aesthetic value and convenience in consumers’ daily lives.”


Woo Sanghyun, Vice President of Jeonjin BioPharm, also stated, “Based on the core technologies we have accumulated so far, we will continuously develop trendy new products and cooperate to commercialize them. We expect synergy effects from mutual collaboration.”
