Introducing Korean Startups to the World... KiwiTech Hosts the 'Korea Venture Fair'

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] KiwiTech, a U.S. software developer and investment firm, is hosting the 'Korea Venture Fair' to showcase Korea's innovation-based startups to the world.

Headquartered in New York, USA, KiwiTech operates a venture ecosystem that discovers and nurtures early-stage and growth-stage startups worldwide. This is the first time they are holding a global venture event targeting Korean companies, and the event will be held online on April 12.

KiwiTech highly values the technological capabilities and creativity of Korean startups and aims to support investment attraction and commercialization by connecting them with U.S. investment institutions and companies. They expect tangible results from this event.

Mohsin Syed, CEO of KiwiTech, stated, "As this is the first event targeting Korean companies, interest from U.S. investors is greater than ever. Korean startup technology already possesses global competitiveness, and I am confident they will stand out in the global venture investment market."

Seunghyuk Lee, CEO of Startup Research and co-host of the event, said, "Until now, Korean startups' global expansion has been intermittently conducted in the public sector, but having a U.S.-based software company directly serve as a bridge with U.S. investors and companies, as in this event, is meaningful for securing a sustainable network."

The event will feature experts from various fields who are directly supporting the globalization of the Korean startup ecosystem as panelists, engaging in in-depth discussions on the Korean startup ecosystem and global competitiveness.

Yuanta Securities, Enox Co., Ltd., Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, and Nanum Angels are participating as event partners. U.S. asset owners, venture capitalists, and angel investors will listen to pitches from eight representative Korean companies.

Participation in the Korea Venture Fair is available through the KiwiTech website.
