Homeplus announced on the 24th that it will lower the selling prices of major spring seasonal fruits to stabilize food prices.
First, vitamin-rich seasonal fruits such as chamoe (Korean melon), green grapes, oranges, and apples will be sold at special discounted prices to help customers recharge their energy.
The "Sinsun Farm Chamoe" (1.2kg/bag) will be sold at 7,490 KRW, a 50% discount when paying with six major event cards (Shinhan, Samsung, Kookmin, Nonghyup, Woori, Hana cards), down from the regular price of 14,990 KRW. The "Sinsun Farm Chamoe" is a Seongju chamoe grown at designated fresh farms under an agreement between Homeplus and Nonghyup, with Homeplus strictly managing and selecting the fruit from harvest to delivery, known for its crisp texture and sweet juice. ※Limited to 10,000 bags per day. ※Excludes BC, corporate, prepaid, and gift cards.
The "Premium Blanc Green Grapes" (900g/pack/Peru) will be sold at a special price of 9,990 KRW. With a crisp texture, superior sweetness, and seedless convenience for eating with the skin, it is a great snack for children and enjoyable for the whole family.
The "Black Label Oranges" (2.1kg/8~12 pieces/bag/USA) will be offered at 9,990 KRW (regular price 15,990 KRW) with a 6,000 KRW discount for My Homeplus membership holders.
The "High-Sugar Yeongju Apples" (5~6 pieces/bag, regular price 9,990 KRW) will be sold at 4,990 KRW per bag when purchasing two bags with a 50% discount. Additionally, "The Big Apple" harvested in Muju, Jeollabuk-do (per piece, regular price 2,490 KRW) will be available at a 50% discount price of 6,220 KRW for five pieces purchased during a two-day event starting from the 2nd of next month.
Moreover, the release of seasonal fruits such as watermelons and tomatoes has been advanced by 1 to 3 weeks compared to last year, allowing customers to enjoy representative summer fruits earlier.
The seasonal watermelon will be introduced from the 7th of next month, one week earlier than last year, featuring "100% sweetness-selected watermelons," along with planned promotions to enable quick and affordable enjoyment.
Tomatoes will also be featured in a "Tomato Festival" starting from the 7th of next month, gathering a total of 15 varieties, including 4 additional types compared to last year, with various promotions prepared.
