Through a social network service (SNS) message on the same day, President Moon congratulated her, saying, "It will also bring great joy and comfort to the people exhausted by COVID-19."
President Moon praised, "The author has been acclaimed as a writer who 'explores the tension and joy between reality and fantasy,' and has consistently pursued innovation in picture books," adding, "Picture books are a language of empathy that delivers messages of love and hope to both children and adults."
He further stated, "Korean picture books are recognized not only domestically but also worldwide for their beautiful illustrations and original content," and evaluated, "This is the achievement of the efforts made by several authors, including Lee Su-ji."
