[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] With less than two months remaining in President Moon Jae-in's term, a petition supporting President Moon has been posted. This post has received over 200,000 endorsements in just 13 days since its registration, meeting the Blue House response criteria.

On the 10th, a petition titled "We Love President Moon Jae-in" was posted on the Blue House National Petition Board. As of 8:20 AM on the 22nd, this petition had garnered approximately 212,920 endorsements.

The petitioner began by saying, "Mr. President, thank you for letting us know about a proud and new Korea, reborn over the past five years, unlike anything we have experienced before."

He added, "Although there were countless difficult challenges, I live with pride in a Korea that has become a developed country because you are here, Mr. President."

He continued, "I do not want to make you feel lonely, but as one of your supporters, I do not know how to be of help, so I am posting this petition."

Additionally, the petitioner said, "So far, the best president in my life is only one person, Moon Jae-in," and praised, "I will proudly consider myself a supporter of President Moon Jae-in's government over the past five years for the rest of my life.

Furthermore, he said, "I support you until the end of your term and even after your retirement," and wished for President Moon's health, saying, "I always love and respect you."

Meanwhile, the Blue House National Petition was established on August 19, 2017, marking 100 days since the Moon Jae-in administration took office, based on the principle of "The government answers when the people ask."

After obtaining prior consent from 100 people, a petition is officially posted on the board, and if it receives more than 200,000 endorsements within 30 days, a response from the Blue House and government department heads can be obtained. However, as President Moon's term expiration date approaches, the future of the National Petition is at a crossroads.
