On the 21st, China Central TV (CCTV) reported an accident involving a China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 passenger plane carrying 133 people in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in southern China. The flight was reportedly en route from Kunming, Yunnan Province, to Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.
Amid a wildfire in the accident area, rescue teams are currently approaching the site, and the casualty situation has not yet been confirmed, CCTV reported. CCTV did not confirm whether the passenger plane crashed into a mountain.
