Hapcheon Museum Hosts the 10th Special Exhibition Poster of the Lives and Traces of Ancestors Contained in Artifacts

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Hapcheon Museum in Gyeongnam will hold the 10th Special Exhibition from the 28th of this month to July 17.

Under the title "The Lives and Traces of Our Ancestors Contained in Artifacts," the exhibition will showcase 65 artifacts from the Goryeo and Joseon periods, which have been donated or entrusted to the Hapcheon Museum and managed until now.

The exhibited items include donated artifacts such as horse tack, ring swords, and ceramics, as well as entrusted items like the portrait of Jubuja, Dongdo Gyehoeji Map, various official documents, and woodblocks, all of which reveal the history and culture of Hapcheon.

Among the exhibits, the Dongdo Gyehoeji Map will also be presented in a digitally restored video. Additionally, a Hall of Honor board listing the names of donors and trustees will be displayed in the museum's central hall during this special exhibition.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, no separate opening ceremony will be held.

A military official stated, "This event was prepared to express gratitude to the donors and trustees who love the local history and culture and cherish the Hapcheon Museum," and added, "We hope for many donations and trusts to the Hapcheon Museum."
