Dong-Eui University Fencing Team coach Han Woori is receiving a commendation from the Korea Fencing Federation and taking a commemorative photo.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Han Woori, coach of Dong-Eui University, received a plaque of appreciation at the Korea Fencing Federation Merit Awards held on the 16th at the Olympic Handball Stadium in Oryun-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
Coach Han has guided Dong-Eui University fencing athletes for 11 years, producing numerous national representatives as well as Olympic and Asian Games medalists.
Dong-Eui University was honored with the plaque of appreciation in recognition of its significant efforts, as 7 out of the 16 national sabre team members, both men and women, are alumni of Dong-Eui University.
Coach Han Woori said, “I will work harder to develop Dong-Eui University fencing and maintain it as a cradle for national fencing representatives,” adding, “I will strive to establish men’s and women’s sabre teams in Busan to pave the way for future generations.”
