[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyun-joo] Sisters walking their pet dogs in Gumi, Gyeongbuk, were injured after being attacked by large dogs.
According to the Gumi Police Station on the 20th, around 2:15 PM that day, Ms. A, a woman in her 30s, and her younger sister Ms. B were walking their pet dogs on a trail in Gumi City when they were attacked by three large dogs.
The sisters were bitten on their legs and other areas and received hospital treatment; their lives are not in danger. The pet dog accompanying them was bitten by the large dogs and died.
The dogs that attacked the sisters were identified as Russian Shepherd Caucasian Ovcharka and British Retriever, which had escaped under a fence from a nearby farm.
