[Yeongam=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-kyung] Cha Min-su, a member of the Jeonnam Yeongam-gun Folk Ssireum Team, caused a sensation by becoming Halla Jangsa in just two tournaments during his debut year.

On the 16th, at the 'Withus Pharmaceutical 2022 Jeongnamjin Jangheung Jangsa Ssireum Tournament' held in Jangheung-gun, Jangsa Cha Min-su defeated his teammate Kwak Su-hoon in the quarterfinals to advance to the semifinals, where he defeated Park Min-gyo of Gyeonggi-do Yongin Special City Hall, a rival from his university days, to reach the finals.

Cha Min-su's final opponent was his teammate and 11-time Halla Jangsa winner Oh Chang-rok.

In the first match, Cha succeeded with Deulbaejigi, and in the second match, he scored consecutively by successfully performing his specialty, Japchigi.

In the third match, Oh scored 1 point with his specialty, Deulbaejigi, continuing the tense competition.

However, the match was decided in the fourth round. Cha threw Oh down with Batdari Geolligi, becoming Halla Jangsa.

Cha Min-su said, "This victory was greatly helped by the Yeongam-gun Folk Ssireum Team, and I received a lot of guidance from Oh Chang-rok," giving credit to his team and fellow players.
