LG Electronics Launches Next-Generation Dishwasher Equipped with 'TrueDry' Technology

LG Electronics will launch the next-generation Dios dishwasher equipped with 'True Dry,' which significantly enhances drying performance while maintaining excellent cleaning power, hygiene, and convenience, on the 18th. The new product will be the first LG UP appliance among dishwashers and will offer continuous upgrades by adding various courses such as the ultra-powerful cycle.

The newly released LG Dios dishwasher (model name: DFB24MS) features a differentiated 'True Dry' function. True Dry integrates technologies such as ▲water-cooled condensation drying ▲automatic door-opening drying ▲hot air drying using external air seamlessly to deliver top-level drying performance.

First, it expels internal moisture through a powerful water-cooled condensation drying system using the water jacket method, unique among domestic products. After washing, moisture in the hot steam condenses into water droplets due to the temperature difference with the cold water filled in the water jacket on the inner wall and is expelled. After condensation drying, the door automatically opens to release odors and residual steam.

In particular, performance is further enhanced by hot air drying after the automatic door opening. Hot air made from external air filtered through an air filter dries the moisture remaining on the dishes thoroughly. The drying performance of the new product’s hot air drying standard course was 37% better compared to the high-temperature drying standard course of the existing product (model name: DFB22S).

Reflecting that about 30% of customers use the dishwasher after 9 PM through the LG ThinQ app, the new product includes a night quiet course as a standard course. Remote control via the app allows starting, pausing, and ending the washing cycle.

LG Electronics plans to add new functions such as various dishwasher courses including an ultra-powerful course through continuous upgrades. The new product will be released as a built-in type in the colors of the space interior appliance ‘LG Objet Collection’ such as Solid Green and Nature Beige. The price is 1.99 million KRW based on the shipment price. A freestanding model in Manhattan Black color will also be released, priced at 1.89 million KRW.
