Maximum Output 650 Horsepower... Top Speed 300 km/h
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Porsche Korea announced on the 14th that it will officially launch the new high-performance SUV model, the ‘Cayenne Turbo GT’, in the domestic market.
Porsche Korea is expanding its product portfolio with the 'Cayenne Turbo GT'. Equipped with a 4-liter biturbo V8 engine, the ‘Cayenne Turbo GT’ delivers a maximum output of 650 horsepower. The maximum torque is 86.7 kg·m. It takes 3.3 seconds to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h. The top speed has increased by 14 km/h to 300 km/h.
The biturbo engine of the ‘Cayenne Turbo GT’ is an 8-cylinder unit. The 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission with faster shifting and the Porsche Traction Management system have also been adjusted. Additional water cooling is provided for the transfer case.
The standard sports exhaust system, featuring a centrally mounted tailpipe, is a unique characteristic of the ‘Cayenne Turbo GT’. The exhaust system, including the rear silencer, is made of lightweight and heat-resistant titanium. The center silencer has been removed for further weight reduction. Along with this, 8-way adjustable front sports seats and a sports rear seat system are provided as standard features.
In addition, the next-generation Porsche Communication Management system, equipped with enhanced performance, a new user interface, and a new operating method for the Cayenne, is installed in the ‘Cayenne Turbo GT’. The selling price is 234.1 million KRW including VAT.
