[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Federation of Medium-sized Enterprises (KMFME) announced on the 14th that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Venture Capital Association to strengthen the growth capabilities of innovative venture companies and support the expansion of new growth engines for medium-sized enterprises.
The two organizations agreed to establish a system for information and human exchange to scale up ventures and small businesses and to discover growth engines for medium-sized enterprises. They will work together to derive practical successful cooperation cases based on concrete investment demand scale and project feasibility evaluations.
Choi Jin-sik, Chairman of KMFME, stated, "The task of growth through innovation, enhancing national wealth through growth, and improving the lives of individual citizens is what companies do best and a fundamental responsibility entrusted by the community." He emphasized, "Based on the synergy between the innovativeness of venture companies and the growth know-how of medium-sized enterprises, we will expand a mutually beneficial growth model and spread the intrinsic value of companies as a fundamental solution to the distorted anti-business sentiment."
