[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Hansol Home Deco's fiberboard engineered hardwood product, Hansol SB Stone Maru, is receiving high acclaim in the market. Hansol SB Stone Maru looks like marble on the surface but is actually a wood-based material coated with a marble surface layer. It is water-resistant and highly durable against scratches and dents, making it a product with excellent cost-effectiveness and emotional value.
Hansol SB Stone Maru replicates various material patterns and textures such as marble, terrazzo, and sandstone, providing a realistic feel. It offers a total of 14 patterns to carefully meet consumer preferences, including Calacatta, Desert Cream, Bubble White, Granitello Gray, Cream Travertine, Sand Flow, Sand Beige, Burner Gray, Terrazzo Gray, Pietra Black, Cream Terrazzo, Concrete 2, Carrara, and Jumeira.
Compared to regular engineered hardwood, its wider width size shortens construction time during installation. It also allows mixed installation of wood and marble patterns, resolving the monotony of a single pattern and giving different impressions even within the same space.
Optimized thickness for ondol heating enhances thermal efficiency, and its water resistance, a weakness of wood flooring, is strengthened to prevent deformation even under prolonged moisture, making it safe to use around kitchens and bathrooms. It uses Super E0 grade materials, the highest level of eco-friendliness in Korea, and is an environmentally friendly product harmless to humans without adding four types of volatile organic compounds.
