The return-to-farming and return-to-village 'Dongnae Jakkas' are mainly composed of returnees to farming and villages living in rural areas and citizens, who directly create differentiated rural content (photos, videos, posts, card news, etc.) unique to rural areas, such as life in the countryside, agricultural sites, cases of settling in return-to-farming and return-to-village, introduction of the region and landscape, and community activities, and post them on the Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Comprehensive Center website and personal SNS.
The city selected 12 return-to-farming and return-to-village 'Dongnae Jakkas' based on criteria such as the number of friends and visitors on personal Facebook, blogs, YouTube, use of programs, and activity plans. The selected 'Dongnae Jakkas' will receive capacity-building training on promotional strategies and content creation methods before starting full-scale activities, and will receive allowances of up to 150,000 KRW per month (50,000 KRW per content piece) per person.
An official from Sangju City said, "We expect the return-to-farming and return-to-village 'Dongnae Jakkas' to play a key role as guides in attracting returnees to farming and villages and rural tourists by providing vivid on-site information and various charms of the countryside to urban residents dreaming of return-to-farming or return-to-village."
