[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Tae-min] Former Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun will serve as the chairman of the “People’s Life Foundation, Roh Moo-hyun Foundation (Roh Moo-hyun Foundation).”
The Roh Moo-hyun Foundation announced on the 11th that “Former Prime Minister Chung was elected as the 6th chairman at the extraordinary board meeting held on the 22nd of last month.” Former Prime Minister Chung served as Minister of Industry and Resources in 2006 during the Participatory Government and was the last party leader of the Uri Party in 2007.
Former Prime Minister Chung will hold an inauguration ceremony on the 18th and begin his term as chairman of the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation. The term is three years, until February 21, 2025. Previously, former chairman Yoo Si-min retired after completing a three-year term in October last year, and Director Lee Jung-ho of the foundation has been acting chairman since then.
