Become a Data Analysis Expert Even Outside STEM Fields
Asia Economy Education Center held a project performance presentation on the 21st of last month for trainees participating in the training, providing an opportunity to evaluate the trainees' skills.
Having completed approximately 900 hours of training over about five months, this presentation featured IT industry experts from Shinhan Future’s Lab, Flatfarm, VisualCamp, Netsuru, and Megastudy Education AI Division as judges who evaluated the trainees’ project outcomes.
The team Ilseoksajo (Team Leader: Cheon Jaeyoung and three others), who won the grand prize at this presentation, showcased a project titled “Decision Support and Recommendation Algorithm Development through Shopping Mall Data Analysis.”
In the judges’ comprehensive evaluation, the team received the highest scores with comments such as “The data analysis skills were outstanding, and the understanding of recommendation system algorithms was high,” and “The project goals were clear, and the use of item-based filtering recommendation algorithms was a good approach.”
The Excellence Award went to the team presenting “AI-based Job Recommendation Algorithm and Service Development,” while the Merit Awards were given to teams presenting “NLP-based NFT Market Favorability and IT Job Market Analysis and Visualization” and “Big Data-based Jeju Island Food Service Industry Analysis and Visualization.”
One of the judges stated, “The trainees’ creative ideas and resulting outputs were much better than expected. I hope there will be opportunities to evaluate not only the trainees who participated in this presentation but also those in other courses,” and added, “We are fully willing to invite them to the company for corporate visits, support on-site practical interviews, and even proceed with recruitment.”
Asia Economy Education Center received the highest grade (Grade A) in the evaluation of the 4th Industrial Revolution Leading Training Course conducted in 2020. Currently, it operates practical training courses that nurture experts in big data, artificial intelligence, and fintech fields, supporting employment through recommended hiring, and is recruiting trainees for the practical course of the K-Digital project aimed at cultivating core digital practical talents for non-majors.
