[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Microsoft (MS) announced on the 3rd that it will expand support for the flight simulation game 'Flight Simulator' to Xbox One and Xbox Cloud Gaming, following the Xbox Series X|S.
By accessing Microsoft Flight Simulator through the dashboard on Xbox One, players can experience flight simulation at up to 1080p and 30fps. High-quality flight simulation at the same level as Xbox Series X|S is possible on Xbox One as well. Cloud streaming allows for faster and easier play without complicated installation processes.
MS Flight Simulator can be played not only on consoles but also on mobile devices, tablets, and low-spec PCs. During multiplayer sessions, all players share the same airspace regardless of the device used. When accessing the cloud version, it supports general Bluetooth controllers such as the Xbox Wireless Controller, making it convenient to play on mobile devices like smartphones and tablet PCs.
World Updates I-VI are automatically streamed to all existing players, and all items previously purchased on Xbox Series X|S and the entire Xbox Marketplace are linked.
Meanwhile, with this service expansion, Microsoft Flight Simulator can be played on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10·11 PCs through Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, and is also available on Steam.
