Spring Special Promotion for March

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Renault Samsung Motors announced on the 2nd that it has prepared generous March discount benefits for new car buyers in anticipation of the spring outing season.

First, the urban electric vehicle Renault Zoe offers a discount benefit of up to 3 million KRW. Along with a special price discount of 1 million KRW to celebrate 2022, cash purchase customers receive an additional 1 million KRW discount and a prepaid charging card worth 500,000 KRW. Public officials, teachers, national merit recipients, persons with disabilities, and multi-child families can receive an additional special discount of 500,000 KRW.

When receiving the electric vehicle subsidy benefits that started at the end of February, in Seoul, purchases are possible from 28.57 million KRW, and in Jeonbuk, where the highest subsidy is provided, purchases start from 22.98 million KRW. Also, if you purchase a Zoe in March, you can receive the vehicle immediately without waiting for delivery.

The QM6, established as a representative domestic mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV), continues its promotion supporting convenience features, accessories, and warranty extension purchases in March. The gasoline model QM6 GDe offers support of 1.5 million KRW for the Premiere trim, 1.3 million KRW for the RE Signature, and 1 million KRW for the LE Signature, respectively.

The QM6 LPe, the only LPG SUV in Korea, applies benefits of 500,000 KRW for the top-tier Premiere trim, and 300,000 KRW and 200,000 KRW for the RE Signature and LE Signature trims, respectively. When purchasing via installment, the ‘My Way’ program is also available, allowing customers to set an interest-free installment period up to 36 months as they wish.

The Renault Master special promotion for small business owners struggling due to COVID-19 continues. The ‘Bye COVID-19, Buy New Master Bus 15-seater Special Benefit’ applied when purchasing the Renault Master 15-seater bus includes various tax support with a 7% discount (about 3.3 million KRW) and free provision of the passenger seat lamp main switch. Religious organizations, schools/academies, and food service businesses receive an additional 500,000 KRW discount when purchasing a vehicle. The maximum purchase benefit for the Master 15-seater bus in March reaches 3.85 million KRW, and a maximum 66-month installment program including a 6-month interest-only grace period is also available.

The ultra-compact electric vehicle Twizy, popular among short-distance city commuters, also applies a 500,000 KRW cash discount and offers a 60-month interest-free installment program.

Renault Samsung Motors continues to make efforts to minimize customer inconvenience due to delivery delays despite the shortage of automotive semiconductors and other parts. As a result, for popular main models such as the QM6 and XM3, customer delivery is expected to be possible this month or by April depending on detailed option selections.
