‘Honda Classic Champion’ Jeb Straka (Austria) soared 93 spots to 1.73 points in the weekly official golf world rankings announced on the afternoon of the 28th (Korean time). He secured a large number of points with his come-from-behind victory at the PGA Tour Honda Classic (total prize money $8 million), which concluded that morning at PGA National Golf Club (Par 70, 7,125 yards) in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, USA. He built a historic milestone as the first Austrian PGA Tour champion and earned a two-year tour card along with a ticket to the Masters in April.

The ‘Top 5’ remain unchanged with Jon Rahm (Spain), Collin Morikawa, Patrick Cantlay (both USA), Viktor Hovland (Norway), and Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland). ‘Phoenix Open Champion’ Scottie Scheffler is 6th, followed by Justin Thomas (both USA) in 7th. Daniel Berger (USA), who started the day with a 5-stroke lead but finished 4th after a 4-over-par slump, was satisfied with a 4-spot rise to 17th. South Korea has four players in the ‘Top 100’: ‘Shriners Champion’ Im Sung-jae (24th), Kim Si-woo (27th), Lee Kyoung-hoon (31st), and ‘Asian Tour Money Leader’ Kim Joo-hyung (20 years old) at 84th.
