Shin Dong-yeop Adopts for the First Time in 21 Years... "I Felt It Right Away When I Saw the Photo"

MC Shin Dong-yeop revealed that he adopted a pet dog for the first time in 21 years since hosting the SBS variety show 'TV Animal Farm.'

[Asia Economy Online Issue Team] Shin Dong-yeop, the MC of 'TV Animal Farm,' has adopted a stray dog after 21 years of hosting the program.

On the 27th, during the opening of SBS variety show 'TV Animal Farm,' Shin Dong-yeop said, "Although I have been hosting 'Animal Farm' for a long time, I had never adopted a pet dog. It was because I thought it meant taking responsibility for a life." He added, "I have finally adopted a pet dog."

The dog Shin Dong-yeop adopted is a 3-month-old named 'Creami.' Shin explained, "(Creami's mother) came to the shelter while pregnant and was at risk of euthanasia, but a private rescuer took her in, and she gave birth to four puppies, one of which is Creami."

Shin Dong-yeop smiled happily, saying, "I don't know how happy I am." MC Jung Sun-hee said, "Before the broadcast, our MCs were reading scripts and talking about each other's dogs, but Shin Dong-yeop just listened. Today, he talked about Creami for 20 minutes," sharing how deeply Shin has fallen for his pet dog.

Another MC, Joy, asked Shin Dong-yeop, "Did you immediately feel you had to bring Creami home?" Shin replied, "I saw a photo, and I just felt it right away. My family unanimously chose that friend. I think it was a feeling."

Joy said, "I think you and Creami look a bit alike. I was surprised because they look so similar at first glance." In fact, the photo of Creami that was revealed attracted attention for bearing a strong resemblance to Shin Dong-yeop.

Meanwhile, Shin Dong-yeop has been the main MC of 'TV Animal Farm' since May 2001.
