[Asia Economy Reporter Donghoon Jeong] POSCO InnoBuilt Alliance and POSCO Steel Sheet will participate in the Seoul Living Design Fair.
On the 24th, POSCO announced that it will participate in the Seoul Living Design Fair held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, from the previous day until the 27th, lasting five days. This exhibition is the largest domestic event in the living and lifestyle sector. It is a stage where the latest designs and products related to remodeling and interior design are unveiled.
At this exhibition, POSCO Steel Sheet will introduce its brand Infinelli, which embodies new values of beauty, and InnoBuilt Alliance member companies such as ▲ReSquare ▲Isola Energy ▲DexSquare ▲Napal will showcase various products utilizing POSCO’s high-quality eco-friendly steel materials.
Infinelli is a brand that reflects POSCO Steel Sheet’s values of eco-friendliness and sustainability. It offers eco-friendly multifunctional products such as printed steel sheets that replicate the images and textures of wood or stone on the highly corrosion-resistant ‘PosMAC’ steel sheet, antibacterial color steel sheets that inhibit bacterial growth, and fire-resistant steel sheets that emit fewer harmful gases during fires.
Napal, which mainly showcased framed speaker products featuring works by famous painters or photographers, will introduce speakers featuring paintings by disabled artists as new works. These framed speakers contribute to improving employment and economic independence for disabled artists by paying licensing fees to them upon purchase.
Additionally, ReSquare, already renowned among consumers as a leading brand in creating kitchen spaces, will also participate in the exhibition. ReSquare possesses furniture manufacturing technology that integrates stainless steel sink countertops and sink bowls, satisfying aesthetic beauty as well as antibacterial and eco-friendly properties.
In particular, ReSquare will present new kitchen furniture designs and functions at this exhibition, including furniture made with Infinelli products featuring stone and wood patterns, and sinks embedded with speakers created in collaboration with Napal.
Furthermore, solar solution company Isola Energy will exhibit solar-related products with improved performance and innovative designs, such as the ‘iRoof Plus’ featuring flexible modules for curved installation that increase solar power generation, the ‘iBlind’ which provides shading and self-power generation simultaneously, and the futuristic solar electric vehicle charging system ‘iCarport’.
DexSquare, which produces design steel sheets such as ‘DexBoard’ and provides total solutions from development to construction and management of interior and exterior materials applying these sheets, will showcase various collaborative products through home interiors combining works by world-renowned designers, furniture, and lighting at this exhibition.
Notably, visitors can experience ‘DexSteel,’ a new concept color ceramic steel sheet that is the first in Korea to use ceramic coatings enabling over 20 years of quality assurance, with multifunctional features such as ▲fire resistance ▲antibacterial properties ▲removability of oil-based pen marks ▲3H high hardness, and ‘DexArt,’ an InnoBuilt certified product that combines POSCO’s PosMAC with ceramic coating to achieve a resolution of 1440 dpi?about five times that of regular photos?and 3D texture effects. These products are used as interior and exterior materials in buildings, replacing wallpaper or tiles.
InnoBuilt is POSCO’s premium integrated brand for eco-friendly steel construction materials launched in 2019. By the end of last year, a total of 208 products in architectural structures, roads and bridges, and ground and foundation sectors, combining aesthetics and durability, had been certified.
