Chicken Plus, the perfect match of potatoes and ketchup! Launch of chicken 'No.1 Potato Dakto Dak'

Chicken Plus (CEO Minho Yoo) will launch the final winning menu of the Korea Chicken Competition (hereinafter referred to as the Chicken Competition), ‘No.1 Potato Dakto Dak,’ and the menu that goes well with a drink, ‘Hanjanhajjao Dakbal,’ on Thursday, February 24.

‘No.1 Potato Dakto Dak’ is a menu based on the recipe ‘Wooseungeul Kaedak’ by the final winner (Byungtae Ahn) of the Korea Chicken Competition. It has been praised as a menu that feels ‘familiar yet completely new’ and received high acclaim from 12 out of 13 judges, including chefs, celebrities, and creators who appeared on the program.

By adding ‘potato crumble,’ you can enjoy the natural mild and savory taste of potatoes, and the crispy texture has been greatly enhanced compared to existing chicken, enough to boldly call it No.1. In addition, ketchup seasoning that allows you to taste the flavor of tomatoes has been added to give it a distinctive character. The ketchup mayo sauce provided as a basic component offers a more attractive taste by adding spiciness to the familiar flavor of ketchup and mayonnaise to the public.

The ‘Hanjanhajjao Dakbal,’ which was selected by all judges in episode 10 of the Chicken Competition’s ‘Chimaek’ mission, will also be released simultaneously. ‘Hanjanhajjao Dakbal’ is based on the Vietnamese national sauce ‘Nuoc Mam Sauce’ and Sriracha sauce, and is served with ‘Inferno Sauce,’ which adds a spicy flavor suited to Korean tastes.

A representative of Chicken Plus said, “We are pleased that various K-chicken dishes have come to light after the Korea Chicken Competition, which many chicken-loving viewers showed interest in, was broadcast.” He added, “No.1 Potato Dakto Dak, which is being released this time, is the final winning product, so we put great effort into its taste and packaging.” He also stated, “We will continue to be a good brand that spares no effort to uphold fair trade practices by actively supporting recipe development by chicken masters nationwide and providing royalties for recipes to raise the status of K-chicken.”

Meanwhile, ‘Korea Chicken Competition,’ which Chicken Plus supported in production, is a K-chicken survival program for the globalization of K-chicken, showcasing unique chicken dishes in each episode and attracting much attention from viewers.
