Gatevision, a premium home appliance distribution specialist, announced that it has signed a general agency contract with the global audio equipment brand Sennheiser.
Sennheiser is a German audio equipment company established in 1956. It commercialized the world's first active noise cancelling technology and introduced the world's first wireless earphones, the MX W1. Based on experimental attempts and innovative technology, it has received various awards including the Academy Award for Scientific and Technical Achievement, CES Innovation Award, Red Dot Design Award, and EISA European High Fidelity Headphone of the Year.
Gatevision, which has introduced various premium overseas home appliances over the past 21 years, signed an audio general agency contract with Sennheiser and plans to open online and offline stores to provide consumers with opportunities to directly experience Sennheiser's premium sound.
Each store will showcase various headphone series including Sennheiser's bestseller and audiophile favorite, the HD800S, the open-back HD599, and the closed-back HD569 which enhances convenience with an inline microphone and remote control functions.
Additionally, various peripherals such as the Bluetooth audio transmitter BT T100, digital headphone amplifier HDV 820, and wireless earphones will also be introduced.
A Gatevision representative stated, “Based on our know-how developed through working with innovative brands such as Dyson from the UK, Laurastar from Switzerland, Imetec from Italy, and Bissell from the US, we have taken on the role of the general agency for Germany’s Sennheiser in Korea. We will strive to expand the domestic speaker and headset market and make it easier for Korean consumers to access various Sennheiser models.”
