[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Beauty specialist brand Beauty Bakery has formed a strategic partnership with game publishing company Pangsky to expand its blockchain new business, the 'LOTT Project.'
Beauty Bakery announced on the 16th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Pangsky to expand the LOTT token and blockchain platform payment system.
Through this, Beauty Bakery plans to support and collaborate on blockchain platform technology for Pangsky's PC and mobile games and content.
A Beauty Bakery official said, "As domestic and international companies are rushing into blockchain and metaverse game businesses, we have decided to support the LOTT token and blockchain payment system in many games serviced by Pangsky," adding, "This agreement is expected to accelerate the commercialization of the LOTT token and the expansion of blockchain business areas."
Pangsky is a global game publishing company that services PC online game Shinmukhon Online, as well as mobile games Dragon Raja Origin and God of High School. Last year, it established a dedicated organization to focus on blockchain game business and is preparing to launch a blockchain game platform in April.
Meanwhile, Beauty Bakery is accelerating the LOTT Project, a blockchain platform new business that applies NFT (non-fungible token) technology to various fields. In December last year, it signed an MOU with Medic Bio NK, a company specializing in immuno-oncology drug research and development. Additionally, on the 14th, it agreed to mutually cooperate in blockchain platform development and marketing with Snowpipe, which develops games using popular intellectual properties (IPs) such as Sakura Wars and Pig King Tongki.
