[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Samsung Card announced on the 15th that it has launched the 'Samsung BIZ iD Benefit Card,' which offers industry-leading discounts of up to 300,000 KRW per month when paying the four major social insurances such as health insurance and national pension.
This card provides a 1.5% discount on essential expense payments such as the four major insurances and electricity bills, up to a maximum of 300,000 KRW per month. The detailed discount targets include the four major insurances: health insurance, national pension, employment insurance, industrial accident insurance, as well as electricity bills, city gas bills, discount stores like E-Mart, online shopping malls, Baemin Sanghoe, and overseas payments. There is no previous month usage condition, and the discount benefit is provided up to 300,000 KRW per month in total.
Additionally, the Samsung BIZ iD Benefit Card offers a 3% discount on business operation and management expense payments. The detailed discount targets include fuel, electric vehicle charging, mobile communication fees, internet and wired communication fees, rentals, security, and disinfection, with a combined maximum discount of 20,000 KRW per month depending on the previous month's usage amount.
Moreover, this card provides a 0.5% discount benefit without previous month usage amount or discount limit when paying at domestic merchants. It also offers tax support services such as VAT refund convenience support and 250 free electronic tax invoice issuances per month.
The annual fee for the Samsung BIZ iD Benefit Card is 30,000 KRW for both domestic-only and international versions. A Samsung Card official stated, "We expect business customers to receive various benefits related to essential expenses such as the four major social insurances as well as business operation through the Samsung BIZ iD Benefit Card," adding, "We plan to continuously provide useful services to customers in the future."
