Contract Signed for Acquisition of All Business and Assets of Korea's Largest Hotel Laundry Service CleanNuri
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Lundrigo is making a full-scale entry into the business-to-business (B2B) laundry market by acquiring the largest hotel laundry business in Korea. Uisikju Company (CEO Cho Sung-woo), which operates the contactless mobile laundry service Lundrigo, announced on the 14th that it has signed a contract with Ourhome to acquire all business and facility assets of Clean Nuri, a hotel laundry factory.
Clean Nuri, which has over 30 hotel clients including major domestic 5-star hotels such as Walkerhill, Andaz, and Novotel Ambassador, provides laundry services based on the latest automated laundry equipment and experts, and is characterized by its ability to process up to 25 tons of laundry.
Lundrigo explained that through this business acquisition, it aims to secure global competitiveness by innovating the B2B laundry industry, which has seen no changes until now. In the existing hotel laundry industry, food and beverage (F&B) chef wear, uniforms, and customer laundry had to be separated and entrusted to different laundry factories, but Lundrigo plans to offer differentiated services by handling all laundry processes in a one-stop manner.
Additionally, in March, Lundrigo plans to expand its business into the overall B2B sector for small and medium-sized businesses including hotels by launching a new service called 'Lundrigo Business' targeting small and medium-sized establishments such as restaurants, hair salons, and fitness clubs.
Cho Sung-woo, CEO of Uisikju Company, said, "While steadily preparing a business targeting the B2B laundry market over the past two years, we have been able to make a good start through the acquisition of the largest hotel laundry business in Korea. Just as Lundrigo brought innovation to the B2C market in three years, we will establish global competitiveness in the B2B market as well and grow into the world's best laundry and lifestyle company."
