According to the completed car industry on the 12th, Bentley Motors plans to invest ?2.5 billion (approximately 4.0382 trillion KRW) over the next 10 years, including launching electric vehicle models annually starting in 2025.
Through this, they aim for complete carbon neutrality in the manufacturing process by 2030. In particular, following the launch of the 2022 Flying Spur plug-in hybrid (PHEV), Bentley plans to add five derivative models of the Bentayga PHEV to meet the diverse needs of discerning customers.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars also announced the brand’s first pure electric vehicle, the Spectre, last September. Recently, they unveiled a new design of the 'Spirit of Ecstasy' that will be installed on the Spectre.
Along with this, Lamborghini aims to switch to hybrid models by 2024 and launch the brand’s first pure electric vehicle in the late 2020s. Through this, they target reducing product carbon dioxide emissions by up to 50% by 2025.
Aston Martin is also joining the electric vehicle lineup. They declared a complete halt to internal combustion engine vehicle production by 2026, plan to launch hybrid models within two years, and release electric vehicle models within five years.
Maserati fully remodeled its Modena factory in Italy in 2019 for electrification. Since last year, they have introduced hybrid vehicles. Next year, through the 'Folgore' project, which means 'lightning' in Italian, they plan to launch pure electric vehicles.
Meanwhile, Porsche had already launched the electric sports car 'Taycan' at the end of 2019.
