According to the Busanjin Police Station in Busan on the 10th, firefighters who responded to a fire report at 8:08 p.m. on the 9th quickly extinguished the fire in about six minutes at a three-story house in Jeonpo-dong, Busanjin-gu, Busan.


The fire occurred in a three-story detached house while resident A left their pet cat at home for a short time.


A reportedly left one electric heater on, concerned that the cat might be cold, and went out. The fire broke out during this time. Upon returning home, A tried to extinguish the fire by pouring water, but as the fire spread significantly, they called 119.


There were no injuries to the pet cat or any people, but the fire damaged the interior of the third-floor house, causing an estimated loss of about 6 million won, according to the fire department.


The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
