'Our School Now' Ranks No. 1 on Netflix for Three Consecutive Days


Directed by Lee Jae-gyu and Kim Nam-soo, "All of Us Are Dead" has established itself as Netflix's most popular program. According to FlixPatrol, an online video service (OTT) ranking site, the drama, which was released on the 28th of last month, held the No. 1 spot on the Netflix TV program world ranking for three consecutive days (816 points). It surpassed the drama starring Kristen Bell, "The Girl in the House Across the Street" (535 points), by a remarkable 281 points on the same day.


"All of Us Are Dead" was the most watched in forty-six countries including South Korea, France, Japan, Germany, Australia, Brazil, Italy, Belgium, India, Poland, the Philippines, the Czech Republic, Mexico, Denmark, Colombia, Finland, Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand. It also performed well in the United States and the United Kingdom, ranking 2nd and 3rd respectively. The show ranked within the top 5 in every country where Netflix is available, showing a rising trend comparable to "Squid Game."

"All of Us Are Dead" is a high-teen action thriller about students trapped in a school overrun by a zombie virus, fighting desperately to survive while awaiting rescue. Based on the webtoon of the same name, it creates various tensions while conveying values such as friendship, love, and sacrifice. Directed by Lee Jae-gyu, known for dramas like "Damo" and "Beethoven Virus" and the film "Perfect Stranger," the series attracted attention even before its release. The screenplay was written by writer Cheon Sung-il, who worked on dramas like "Chuno" and "L.U.C.A.: The Beginning," as well as the "Pirates" film series. The cast includes Park Ji-hoo, Yoon Chan-young, Jo Yi-hyun, Lomon, Yoo In-soo, Lee Yoo-mi, and Lim Jae-hyuk. The production was handled by Film Monster and Kim Jong-hak Production.
