The distribution industry has prepared various events targeting 'Home Seol-jok' who enjoy nearby shopping while resting at home during the Lunar New Year holiday. They are launching demand-capturing initiatives such as famous brand pop-up stores and region-linked discount events.

According to the distribution industry on the 29th, Galleria Department Store will showcase various product events and pop-up stores for the Lunar New Year holiday and post-holiday marketing.

The Galleria Luxury Hall in Apgujeong-dong, Seoul, is hosting a pop-up store for the Scottish knitwear brand 'BARRIE' until the 21st of next month. At this pop-up, visitors can find various products including a new collection inspired by the golf theme and the heritage and spirit of the polo club, aligned with the 2022 Spring/Summer (S/S) season theme.

The Italian luxury plastic living brand 'Kartell' pop-up store will also run until February 3rd. You can find products by world-renowned designers such as chairs, tables, and lighting made of plastic. The 'I Am Here' K-furniture pop-up store, introducing representative works by domestic furniture designers, will also be held until February 3rd. The clothing brand 'YTO' pop-up store will run until February 6th. Meanwhile, the Italian luxury brand 'Dolce & Gabbana' men's store newly opened on the 20th, showcasing various new men's collections including clothing, shoes, and accessories.

At Galleria Gwanggyo, in celebration of Lunar New Year, big toy products from the Danish design store 'Flying Tiger Copenhagen' are offered at a 50% discount until February 2nd. To commemorate the first anniversary of 'Aqua Planet Gwanggyo' opening, customers who purchase children's brands on the 6th floor (over 200,000 KRW) will receive two Aqua Planet admission tickets on a first-come, first-served basis until the 30th. The 'Emporio Armani Special Invitation Exhibition' will be held from February 4th to 10th, offering various outerwear products at discounted prices. Shinsegae Simon is conducting 'regional win-win marketing' by linking with famous restaurants, cafes, and tourist facilities near premium outlets in Gyeonggi's Yeoju, Paju, Siheung, and Busan.
