[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Jinju City in Gyeongnam signed a 'Green Agreement' with the Defense Technology Quality Institute on the 28th.
The Quality Institute, the eighth among the 11 public institutions relocated to Gyeongnam Innovation City to sign a Green Agreement with Jinju City, plans to carry out environmental cleanup volunteer activities at Hayanul Park in Chungmugong-dong through this agreement.
Since January 2019, Jinju City has been signing Green Agreements with relocated public institutions to maintain the environment of the Innovation City.
Jinju Mayor Cho Gyu-il said, "I hope the Quality Institute, which leads innovation to realize perfect military supplies quality, will establish itself as a central institution in Korea together with Jinju City, which leads the future development of the southern region through aerospace and ceramic industries."
Heo Geon-young, Director of the Defense Technology Quality Institute, promised, "We will cooperate with local residents and serve as a pillar for growth and development for the future of Jinju City."
