Dongkook Pharmaceutical Madecassol and Panchidil Selected as Excellent Brands in the 'Korea Brand Hall of Fame'

[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Dongkook Pharmaceutical's 'Madecassol' and 'Pansidil' have been selected as excellent brands in the pharmaceutical category at the '2022 Korea Brand Hall of Fame.'


Dongkook Pharmaceutical announced on the 28th that its products Madecassol and Pansidil were chosen as excellent brands in the pharmaceutical category at the '2022 Korea Brand Hall of Fame (6th Korea Brand Hall of Fame)' held by the Korea Institute for Industrial Policy & Economics at the Swiss Grand Hotel in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul on the 27th.


The '2022 Korea Brand Hall of Fame,' which selects and announces the most loved excellent products, services, and brands by consumers in each industry over the past year, was hosted by the Korea Institute for Industrial Policy & Economics and jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.


This award was determined by conducting research using market information, basic management data, and media reports to select candidate brand groups focusing on sectors closely related to national consumer life. Professor Jae-Hak Jung of Sogang University Business School (President of the Korean Marketing Science Association) served as the chairman of the judging panel and conducted a second round of expert review before finalizing the award-winning brands.


The evaluation criteria consisted of four categories: business performance, brand value, customer satisfaction, and marketing communication. Madecassol and Pansidil were selected as excellent brands in the wound treatment and hair loss treatment categories, respectively.


A Dongkook Pharmaceutical official said, "In addition to the product's good effects, it seems that the consistent communication with consumers through in-depth disease information campaigns and social contribution activities received positive evaluations,” adding, “We will continue to strive to become a more friendly and trusted brand.”
