Gokseong Residents Get Hotel Stay Discounts, Hotel Guests Receive Train Village Facility Discounts
[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cha Jong-sun] On the 27th, Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it signed a business agreement with The-K Jirisan Family Hotel for mutual discount on fees and regional tourism co-prosperity development.
The agreement involved Gokseong-gun (Governor Yoo Geun-gi), The-K Jirisan Family Hotel (CEO Kim Eun-ho), Korail Tourism Development Gokseong Branch (Branch Manager Kim Jin-tae), and Chocolate Research Institute Museum Gokseong Branch (Director Park Young-do). Each institution promised to promote each other's accommodation and tourism facilities in connection.
According to the agreement, The-K Jirisan Family Hotel will provide discounts ranging from 40% to 70% for Gokseong residents.
Additionally, Gokseong-gun and Korail Tourism Development Gokseong Branch will offer a 50% discount on admission to Seomjingang Train Village and a 30% discount on steam locomotive and Ray Bike usage fees to tourists who present coupons received at the hotel.
The Chocolate Research Institute Museum Gokseong Branch, located within the Train Village, also agreed to provide a 10% discount to hotel guests holding the coupon.
A Gokseong-gun official stated, “This agreement is a wide-area type agreement made with tourism resources from other regions to complement the lacking parts of local tourism resources. In line with the new travel patterns in the post-COVID-19 era, the agreement institutions will cooperate beyond the region to achieve mutual prosperity and provide travelers with higher satisfaction.”
