The Human Resources Development Forum event is currently underway at the Mirai Hall of Gyeongnam Information College.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Gyeongnam Information University held the ‘KIT Human Resources Development Forum’ and the ‘Comprehensive Achievement Exhibition’ of the Junior College Innovation Support Project for two days on the 26th and 27th under the theme of ‘The Direction of University Education for Nurturing Innovative Talent in the Post-Innovation Support Project.’
The event was conducted both online and offline through the on-site venue at the Gyeongnam Information University Future Hall and live streaming on YouTube.
The Human Resources Development Forum began with a keynote speech by Lim Jun-woo, head of the Gyeongnam Information University project group, on ‘Major Achievements of the Junior College Innovation Support Project.’
Following this, presentations and discussions were held on the topics of ▲‘Tasks for the Development Direction of Regional Education Communities and Junior Colleges’ by Park Dong-yeol, senior research fellow at the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training, ▲‘The Direction of Lifelong Vocational Education for Nurturing Future Talent at KIT’ by Jeong Ji-seon, honorary research fellow at the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training, and ▲‘Securing the Identity of Lifelong Vocational Education at Junior Colleges through Local Government Cooperation’ by Han Kwang-sik, director of the Industry-Academia Education Innovation Research Institute at the Korea Council for College Education.
The Comprehensive Achievement Exhibition was held at the university’s Future Hall and the 50th Anniversary Memorial Hall, showcasing and sharing the achievements of Gyeongnam Information University’s competency-based curriculum innovation process.
Lim Jun-woo, head of the project group at Gyeongnam Information University, stated, “Gyeongnam Information University will do its best to nurture talent by strengthening student competencies.”
The event was organized by Gyeongnam Information University and hosted by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea as a Type 1 Junior College Innovation Support Project in 2021.
